The Bratt Bat is a weighted training bat used for building power or for warming up in the On-Deck circle. Its patented design distributes the weight along the barrel giving it the same balance as your normal bat. The lexan plastic tube and hard wood handle used in the manufacture of Bratt's Bat make it extremely durable and safe to use on deck. It is the ideal replacement for the common donut weight.

Why does the Bratt's Bat work?

Bratt's Bat works because it makes the player work harder. It doesn't seem to simply swing itself as other weighted products do. Working with Bratt's Bat will lead to power and quickness-- a dynamic type of strength difficult to achieve through weight-training alone. It loosens your hitting muscles as it strengthens them. The hands, wrists, and arms benefit most from its use. Bratt's Bat will add to your batting average and your home run power!

Jp's Review

To choose the correct size model, I would recommend that you consider:

1st - Doubling the weight of your game bat (length is not as critical.)

2nd - Going up or down in weight by deciding how hard you honestly want to work.

If Your Age Is: Bat Length Weight
6-9 29 inch 35 ounces
10-12 31 inch 50 ounces
13-15 32 inch 55 ounces
14-17 34 inch 60 ounces
18 and up 35 inch 80 ounces

The table above is a rough guide for selecting the weight of your Bratt's Bat. A large ball player may want to choose a heavier size than listed for their age group. Pre-puberty players should NOT consider heavier bats.

Remember - A bad swing may take 3 good swings to recover from!

Proper swing mechanics must be used for EVERY single swing a batter takes. Limit consecutive swings to the number of good swings you can perform in a row... then take a break!
